Fellow Lions,
I’m very excited about the plans we’ve made for our upcoming District 32A
Convention at Embassy Suites in Greenville on January 13th and
14th, 2012. Please check the registration form regarding Friday
and Saturday's dinners and luncheon. Our general membership meeting begins
Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. We are extremely pleased that the Upstate
Senior Band, 43 in number, will be entertaining us during the Saturday
evening banquet!
Your fellow Lions have been working diligently all year organizing the
programs and activities.
I’m extending a “personal invitation to you” to join us and other
Lions in the upstate at the convention in celebrating being a LION!!!!
Please extend this invitation to all your club members and ask them
and encourage them to come along.
One of the enclosures provides information regarding club “themed” baskets
that are needed for the silent auction. Please ask your club to consider
donating one to raise money for our district. Suggestions are shown but
use your imagination in creating your own basket!
Yours in Service,
Jim Starnes, District Governor
