T. MAX LAWTON - Eye Donor Award

Presented to the Club with the highest number of Eye Donors per capita from July 1, 2002 through June 30, 2003. Announcement of the winning Club will be made at the July 2003 Cabinet meeting. Eye Donors must be reported on the monthly Activities report.

   

 

 

PRESIDENT’S EXCELLENCE AWARD REQUIREMENT

Each club president will receive a copy of the official application from the President’s Excellence Award along with an issue of the Club President’s Update. The application should be completed by the Club Secretary, approved by the respective District officers and returned to International Headquarters for processing.

  1.  The Club has complied with the Association Constitution and By-Laws as well as the
       policies of the international Board of Directors and has refrained from any action 
       encouraging unauthorized us of the name, goodwill, emblem, the marks “Lions,” Lions 
       Club,” “Lioness,” “Leo,” “Lions International,” or “Lions Clubs International” and other 
       insignias of this Association.

2.  The Club has conducted at least one major service activity during the year in line with the International Program.

3.  The Club has accomplished at least one of the following:

   a) A net increase in membership for the year. (Deaths and transfers not counted.)

   b) Sponsorship of at least one Lions club.

   c) Qualified for the Club Retention Award

4.  The Club does not have an unpaid balance of over US$50.00 owed to International
Headquarters
and District 32-A

 

 

SECRETARY’S EXCELLENCE AWARD

  1. Attendance at all Zone meetings

  2. Attendance at the 32-A Mid-Winter Rally
     

  3. Membership, Activities and DG Contest Reports postmarked not later than the 3rd day  of the following month.

    1. Activities of the Club carefully written (Board, Committee, Activities, projects etc.)

    2. Full Information relative to new members including sponsor’s name and full information regarding dropped members
       

  4. Attendance Figures properly reported.
     

  5. Semiannual billings from Lions International for dues paid by September 1st and March 1st.
     

  6. Semiannual dues from District 32-A paid by September 15th and February 15th.
     

  7. PU-101 form postmarked not later than April 30th.
     

  8. Must have perfect attendance at club meetings
     

  9. Club must show a net gain in membership July 1, 2005 vs. June 30, 2004.

 

 

CLUB EXCELLENCE AWARD

1.  Both President and Secretary qualified for the Excellence Award.

2.  No net loss in membership, excluding transfer and death.

3.  Average monthly attendance of 75% or more.

4.  Representation at 32-A Mid-Winter Rally.

5.  Representation at State Convention.

6.  Club has a minimum of 1,000 points in the District Governor’s Contest.

7.  Active participation in SCLCS Statewide Service Pledge.

8.   Visitations to at least 6 other clubs in the District (for other than make-up) during the period from July 1st through May 30th of the current Lions year. (Visits can be made by a minimum 2 members of the club, other than Cabinet members and reported on the Activities Reports and DG Contest Form).
